Why a mountain lion?

Mountain Lions seem to be everywhere and nowhere. I feel like every time someone says, "there are no mountain lions in this area." The very next thing you hear is, "actually my neighbor saw..." 

So, like socks, they're always around, even if you don't see them.

 So, you make all of your socks?

I sure do! Socks are the perfect project. They're an excellent balance of challenging and meditative. Making each pair can span from two days to a month (depending on what else is going on). Each pair is crafted with special attention and care. I almost always use natural material.

The Artist

• always seems to have cold feet
